Kitchen Remodeling
Layout changes, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and every trade in between — coordinated so the room comes together as one job, not six.
A kitchen is the hardest room in the house to remodel well, because almost nothing in it is independent. Move the sink and you have moved the plumbing. Change the island and you have changed the electrical, the lighting, and probably the flooring underneath it. The projects that go badly are usually the ones where those decisions were made one at a time by different people.
We handle the room as a single job. Layout and selections get settled before demolition, the trades are scheduled against each other rather than booked as they come up, and there is one person accountable for the whole thing.
Working with your cabinet designer
Cabinetry is the largest single line item in most kitchens and the one with the longest lead time. We work regularly alongside local cabinet designers, so your selections are handled by someone who does it every day — and the order gets placed early enough that it is not what holds up your schedule.
What it looks like day to day
Work areas are contained with dust protection, the site is cleaned at the end of each day, and you know who is going to be in your house and when. Most homeowners stay in the house through a kitchen remodel; we will talk through temporary kitchen setups before anything comes out.
